Marina Barrage

It has been a busy week for me. Tiap-tiap hari keluar berjalan. I wonder why?
Shouldn't abah and ibu be working? I don't know. Ibu always say that I am too small to know many adult things, so I shall not ask too many questions.

Last weekend, I went to this place called the Marina Barrage. I have never been there before. I guess ibu and abah too, because they seemed as jakun as me. We went there with Daddy Mankey & Mummy Lin. And also Uncle Tok Boy. What weird names the 2 uncles have..

It was fun because I was the centre of attention. (What's new, right?)
The 2 uncles with the weird names kept taking my pictures.
I must smile here. I must smile there. It was quite tiring for a small boy like me.


It was all rather fun until Daddy Mankey sits in my stroller. MY stroller!
I gave him THE LOOK all the time he was in MY stroller, but he was too busy to notice.
HMPH!

The big people got very excited when they saw this green machine.

Abah put me right beside it and they started taking pictures of me again.

Ibu told me that it has my name on it. I just have to believe her since I do not know how to spell my name yet.

After that, it was all about playing. WHEEeeeeeeeeeee!!!

I wish ibu will stop feeding me in public. It is a little embarrassing for me.

Oh well! That's all I have to say about my first trip to Marina Barrage.

Yesterday was a good day for me! Abah came home very early in the morning to look after me. (actually, NOT! In case you are reading this, ibu... let me tell you a secret! He WASN'T looking after me, he SLEPT!)

Where was I? Oh. A good day.
So...in the afternoon, abah brought me to fetch ibu from work. It was far. But I think it was not as far as the other place that ibu worked in. I don't really know. I slept most of the journey.
Ibu told me that we were going Vivo. I don't really know where that is also. But I just had to smile and acted as though I love going to Vivo.

They brought me to this place where there were lots and lots of machines that looked like the machine nyai used to wash all my clothes at home. The Miss CHina told Ibu to take of my clothes and I was like "WHAT?!" Adults really think that small boys like me have no sense of shame at all, always taking off all our clothes anywhere THEY want. HELOOO!! Malu tau! Depan perempuan lawa pulak tu! Tapi, what to do. Saya cuma budak kecil yang lemah sahaja.

When the Miss China put this round, pink (PINK?!!!) thing around my neck.. I got a little scared. Nak buat apa tuuuu????? Ibu carried me and I felt a little better. ( a LITTLE jer... ibu tu pun bukan boleh percaya sangat. Remember the hair cutting incident!)

Then...SPLASH!!!

In I went into the machine! HUH???!!! Nyai letak baju, ibu letak saya dalam benda ni???? BEtul ke tak betul??? Mula-mula macam panik lah jugak, but after sometime.. eeeehhhhh.... syiok jugak eh...

Tengok tu... ada bola-bola lagik kat dalam mesin. Ohhh...rupanya mesin ni boleh letak orang jugak. Next time, I will ask Nyai to put me inside the machine in the toilet lah!

All in all.. it was a happy day. Ibu and abah... bila nak berenang lagi????
